Some clients keep us around for a few hours a week or month: reviewing what the team builds, planning the next step, and being who you call when something breaks. Most do not need to.

Who you'd be working with
Nathan Giullian founded Birch Run Consulting after a career spent helping people get real value out of technology they have already paid for, through a mix of tools, training and tenacity.
He runs Birch Run out of Salt Lake City and organizes the Salt Lake Valley Fabric and Microsoft Data Platforms User Group. Most of the work happens over video, and he is happy to meet in person around Salt Lake City.

Am I too small for this?
Probably not. Most of our work starts with one person and one process. If you run a small business and one part of it eats too much of your time, that is usually the right place to begin.
What does it cost?
Our standard rate is $200 an hour. Before any work starts, we agree on an estimate and a not-to-exceed number, so you always know the ceiling. The exceptions are our fixed-fee offers: the Fabric Health Check from $5,000 and the Power BI Premium to Fabric migration from $6,000. The first thirty-minute conversation is free.
Do I need to be technical?
No. That is the point. You bring what you know about your business. We handle the tools and explain them in plain language as we go.
You are in Salt Lake City. Does that work if I am not?
Yes. Most of the work happens over video, and we work with businesses nationwide. If you are near Salt Lake City, Nathan is happy to meet in person.
